The annual kids' fishing derby begins on July 26, which is run by Campbell's Belmont Lake Marina. There will be trophies for different age groups and fish can be weighed in during business hours.

The 2025 Sailboat Race will be run in the area north of Big Island / String Islands. See the Sailboat Race Map  for the course map and race details. 2PM race start. Rain date Monday Aug. 4. All ages and skills welcome. 

Swimming races start at noon.   Bring canoes and kayaks for the boat races, and some cash for the BLCA BBQ provided by Ralph's Butcher.    BLCA Membership required in order to collect prizes.   See the Regatta Flyer for full details.

The Perseid Meteor Shower is one of the most spectacular annual meteor showers visible in Ontario. It typically peaks around mid August, producing up to 100 meteors per hour under ideal conditions. The meteors originate from the Swift-Tuttle comet, and they appear as bright streaks across the sky as they burn up in Earth's atmosphere.

Come and enjoy a dock concert on the west shore of Munn Bay featuring the Weber Brothers at 3pm on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
